Our members support the work of the ABF by putting us in touch with actors and stage managers who need our help, generating income from annual subscriptions, and voting at the AGM.  

You are able to become a member if you are a professional actor or stage manager and are aged 18 and over. To become a member for £20 a year minimum subscription, please apply here.

The Actors' Benevolent Fund is receiving a great many enquiries linked to coronavirus. We are a small organisation and aim to respond to enquiries as quickly as possible, but please be patient awaiting a response.

With so many people asking for help we have to take difficult decisions about the support we can provide. It may be the case that even if you meet the ABF’s eligibility criteria, we may not be able to offer you any support. If we cannot help you, we will signpost you towards other organisations that might be able to help.
